Pause: daily mindfulness App Reviews

Interesting

Is not gonna replace your meditation sessions, but is a nice way to focus for some minutes. Interesting approach and nice mix of meditation and technology.

A waste of money

The app simply consists of a blob that you aimlessly have to move around very slowly... Nothing to do with mindfulness practice.

Wonderful

Absolutely worth it! Beautiful and relaxing.

The best

Im a asian guy whos also a Buddhist and I find this TOP!!

Waste of money

This is a complete rip off. I want my money back

Im confused

It tells you to love a circle for 10 minutes how is that relaxing its pissing me off

Good idea

Especially if you started learning about meditation, you have to keep you mind empty by concentrating on breathing, if your mind wanders, you try to bring it back, here you can concentrate on you finger moving, it also really helps. Good app :)

Mindful Meditation

Meditation requires you to focus on a repetitive task and Pause does this is a simply and beautifully.

Simple, yet effective

I was sceptical of this app due to its simplicity—but it really does work nicely. I recommend using it with headphones to really benefit from it.

No regret

I purchased this app yesterday. I was hesitant to buy it because it was not for free but there was something that convinced my to buy this app. That was..... the video! The video truly inspired me to download this app. I like an app that can calm my nerves when I am stressed and this app did exactly as supposed to. I do not regret purchasing this app. I would definitely recommended this app!

Relaxation

Felt relaxed after doing this for 5-10 minutes. I believe its more the music than actually moving your finger on a screen. Use headphones and turn your mind off.

Perfect

Almost fell asleep in the first two minutes . Super relaxing and relieving . Im actually shocked at how well and fast this app worked to relax me and clear my mind . Definitely a great buy with positive results !!!

I like it but...

Should be clearer that the sound only works with headphones. I couldnt find this documented anywhere.

So calming

This is such a good tool to calm the brain when its twirling. Might not be what everyone needs when anxious, but I found it ideal!

Not thrilled or calm

Are red and yellow the best colours to use for "calm" no, they are not! Youd think you would have put some colour research into your studies before you released the app. Red triggers the mind for rage, danger, blood! Nice work guys!!

Good app but takes power battery and data

I just bought but I had to delete it. It eats battery power of my 4s and data. If this can be fixed will somebody let it me know to downloaded from the cloud?

Not for meditation

I basically buy all apps related to meditation because I practice intensely and appreciate help. This app is a distraction and not a meditation. Its beautiful and can be calming but it doesnt accomplished anything. I dont like when it asks to close my eyes, I get confused on when to open them. It doesnt make sense. Not recommended unless you like to see an evolving blob.

Works for me

Works on me as a shot of endorphines, wife cant stand the app and music keeps breaking. Guess its a hit-or-miss... I for one am very satisfied.

Great but needs some tweaks.

A fantastic way to begin practicing meditation. The app needs a few tweaks: 1) Haptic or audible notification when youre going too fast or too slow. 2) Haptic or audible notification when you should open your eyes. 3) Ignore the mute toggle switch on the side of the iPhone—always play the sounds. If these were implemented this app would be PERFECT.

Meditation for ppl who dont meditate

Not a ripoff. Its a tool to help achieve a relaxed state of attentiveness, which is what mindfulness meditation is all about.
